The urgency is real. You need to do something. You need to act now.
You cannot say you didn’t know. All the warning bells are ringing and if you don’t hear them, it’s because you choose not to. But sticking your head in the sand will only lead to the deserts spreading.
You cannot say it’s someone else’s problem. You will be as much affected as the rest of us.
Don’t justify your inaction by claiming that one person cannot make a difference. One person can make a difference, our history is full of them.
You cannot maintain your current lifestyle. It’s not sustainable. You have to change. Yes, it will be difficult. Yes, it will be inconvenient. Yes, it will take effort. But you have to change, cause if you don’t, you have doomed your great grandchildren to a life in utter despair.
Today, you need to think about how you can contribute to slowing down global warming. Today, you need to start taking action to stop climate change. Not tomorrow, today.
Future generations will look back and wonder why we didn’t act sooner and with more force. After all, our whole planet is at stake.
Make sure that you can stand tall and say that you did do something about it. That you changed your lifestyle for the sake of generations to come. You can do it. After all, you belong to a highly adaptable and innovative species.
