How much money do you need to feel secure?
How many things do you need to be happy?
How many days of grinding are left before you can truly start to live your life?
I don’t have the answers. I’m not sure you do either.
But what if you’re asking the wrong questions?
What if you’re deluding yourself into thinking that you have to wait for the perfect moment to start your real life?
What if you constantly keep setting the bar for that perfect life higher and higher, making it impossible to reach?
What if what you have is enough? That’s something to consider. What if what you have is enough?
If you don’t like the story of your life, change the narrative. Anyone can change their narrative. Step by step. You’ll get there in the end.
No hurry, no pause.
Showing up.
Doing the work.
Taking a small step every day towards a simple life with meaning. Experience every day as it is. Not constantly waiting for a tomorrow that might never come.
What if what you have is enough? Would you live differently? Why wait?
Stop chasing a perfect life that will never be. Work with what you have instead. Don’t settle for less, but embrace what you do have and work towards becoming a better person.
Stop comparing yourself with everyone else. Only compare yourself to you. Strive to be a better you. To be more present in your own life.
And when you look up at the stars at night, be humble and grateful for your existence. You are an unlikely event that will never happen again. There will never be someone else like you. Your presence is indifferent to the cosmos. For you, it’s everything.
Choose to live every day.
What if what you have is enough?
